The Explorean offers an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. And, our chef will prepare snacks upon request during transition hours. Meals feature local ingredients and the menu is determined each day by what the chef finds at the island’s market. The chef prides himself on being an expert in “spontaneous cuisine,” hand-preparing dishes according to the whim of diners,making this truly one of the most unique resorts in Cozumel. Seating is available on a covered veranda by the pool, with indoor seating area as well.

This private on-site restaurant is located just beyond the hotel lobby, overlooking the swimming pool. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks on request during transition hours. Meals feature primarily local ingredients and the menu is determined each day by what the chef finds during his morning trip to the island’s market in Cozumel Mexico.

In addition to the daily specials, the chef prides himself on being an expert with “spontaneous cuisine,” as he hand-prepares dishes according to the whim of diners. If the kitchen doesn’t have a certain ingredient in stock, he will attempt to find it and prepare the dish the following day. Seating is available on a covered veranda, with tropical breezes drifting in from the hotel gardens. A small indoor seating area with a handful of tables is also available for guests.

EXPLORER BAR

The main bar at The Explorean Cozumel by Fiesta American gives guests the ultimate freedom when it’s time for a drink. The well-stocked bar has glassware, beer taps, ice, top-shelf liquors and mixers, neatly arranged so guests can easily make their own drinks and make whatever they’d like. If you want something special, or prefer to have it made for you, a bartender is never far away. The bar has a few bar stools and is adjacent to the lobby lounge and swimming pool area, giving a variety of seating options. The Explorer Bar is especially popular after a trek, when guests come together to talk about their adventures, share photos and start to plan their next Cozumel excursions.
